Its been a long time...

First of all I want to say that the end of summer was wonderful. David came out and spent about ten days with my family and I in California. We did literally everything that I planned for us to do when he came (scroll down to see my intended schedule! haha). We literally did something like everyday. We got to go to the beach, went to six flags, and one of my favorite times was going to Yosemite National Park. I love spending time there with David, my Dad, and my sister Lyndsie. I felt like such a champion hiking thirteen miles in one day!! haha. I definitely felt awful after it but it really was great. But most of all I just loved David ad my family being able to interact. I love seeing the love of my life being so accepted by my family and being loved by them. it just means so much for your family to love who you intend on spending the rest of your life with, its amazing!

I really could go on and on, but I am just going to give a brief synopsis on the events leading from summer up to wear I am now.

The beginning of the semester was really hard for me. My first semester of nursing school, not having time for anyone really, David going to hang out with friends because he hadn't seen them all summer, and me feeling like I didn't have any friends. I just felt very left out for awhile, and it was a struggle to stay positive. But long story short I got through it and the rest of the semester thus far has gotten so much better and better than the first few weeks or so. This semester has definitely been a transition, for not only myself, but for mine and David's relationship, and for just anything else I can think of. David and I have grown so much together this semester and its encouraging seeing how we can work through everything together, no matter what the situation may be. I really love him so much and he has helped me through dealing with everything this semester, with school, and friends, and just everything. he has definitely been very supportive of me and has been doing a good job at being understanding. Of course there will always be times when its hard, but he tries all the time, and that is what counts.

So as far as school goes- first semester of nursing school.. so far so good. Wish my grades were a bit better but I passed my first clinical rotation so that was an achievement within itself! Now I am in the middle of my second clinical rotation, and it is going pretty good so far.. as far as I know anyway! I just really need to kick it into high gear these last several weeks and pull out in the end with better grades. I'm just looking at a lot of C's right now, and its just discouraging because I really do work so hard. I have never worked this hard on anything, ever!

Now, on the note of pledge week. I personally think it blows. I mean I am having fun and I love getting to know the new girls, but clubs are losing their unity. It is just so discouraging to see that the new girls don't even know eachothers names. We were yelled at if we didnt know all the girls' names in our pledge class by the second day! Its the last day and most of these girls don't even recognize eachothers names.. Its awful. It just sucks because there is no incentive to knowing eachothers names anymore. There needs to be some kind of intimidation. Being intimidated by the older members is what brought our pledge class together. I just hate that clubs are really beginning to lose their whole meaning..

Anyways.. its just pledge... "club week" this week and so that was on my mind. But on a lighter note- David and my 9months is coming up! :P haha, I really don't keep track that closely, but its just exciting and I have just absolutely loved the last nine months I have spent with him. I love him so much :)

Well, maybe I will write on this again sometime in the near future, but if not i will eventually. Over and Out! :)
